ARTIST STATEMENT

I am in awe of the reality of taking a piece of the earth and making it into art. I am Raku “crazed.” I enjoy the unpredictability, color, texture, smoke, and fire of Raku. My recent adventure is pit firing. The warm undulating earth tones are aluring. My quest is never ending – I’m always seeking new ways to express my forms.
