ABOUT THE ARTIST
A North Canton native, McNulty has been traveling the world documenting in photography its landscapes and wildlife for the last half decade. His work has taken him to the deepest reaches of the Amazon, to the Alaskan backcountry, all over the Antipodes and Polynesia, and myriad islands throughout the Caribbean.
ARTIST STATEMENT
As a conservation biologist specializing in biosecurity, I’m not the traditional photographer. However, I’ve found that photography can be a most powerful tool in the conservationist’s arsenal. Compelling imagery displayed properly, and to the right audience, is a most effective means of shifting paradigms. My work is the product of sojourns from all over the world, trekking deep into remote biomes, and capturing impressions of rare and at risk wildlife.
